5 Players – Special Rule
When playing with 5 players, there is no Wanderer and no Energy cards can be gained, unless you apply the following house rule:
If a pawn is moved past 24:00, the player may choose to take either a Special Action card or an Booster card.

Regarding the “End of the Game” (see below), a small clarification/correction is needed:
The game ends after a Best of Three, meaning a player or team must win 2 rounds (not 3, as stated in the rulebook).
Of course, you may choose to play a Best of Five instead.
In addition, each round always starts with a fresh setup. Any Special Action cards and/or Booster cards you had must be returned at the end of the round.

This is mentioned above (but can easily be overlooked):
The player with the lowest score (in Individual mode) receives one Special Action card at the start of a new round.
If two players share the lowest score, both players receive one Special Action card from the draw pile before the next round begins.
Additional scoring clarification:
If, at the end of a round, a player
a) still has the lowest score, and
b) has an unused Special Action card in hand,
that player receives an additional second Special Action card for the next round

Additional clarification regarding 1:00 AM (Bat card / Special Action card):
The player whose pawn is moved past 24:00 receives the Special Action card — not the active player who caused the movement.
